Why Support CCAT?

Together the collective group, CCAT, gains strength in manifesting our vision. In a nutshell we want to provide a unique service to our community. We intend to provide our services as Creative Arts Therapists for everybody in Sonoma County. Here is the plan:

Part One: approximately 12 Art Therapists- including teachers, graduates and students - have donated many hours and energy to gain non-profit status for CCAT to begin exploring the feasibility of a clinic based on creative arts therapies approaches. Currently they are seeking a home for CCAT and through consultation are beginning the important work of creating an Endowment Fund.

Part Two: We need you - especially if you have been feeling out there without good support and clear vision on how to move forward in your own goals. Also, we need you to help us by letting us know what vision you have of moving forward in your goals as you participate in the process of extending Art Therapy throughout our beautiful County. Until the latter part of the 20th century, many western artists were renowned for working independently, being suspicious and having low expectations for community effort. The new Century calling to us to address issues of importance collectively. We need to use our creativity and imagination to address human health challenges. Our community is familiar and allied with the deepest longings of the human heart. Please become part of our growth and success!
